 Grooming times vary by dog. Baths typically take 1–2 hours, while full grooms generally take 2–3 hours. We work with each dog straight through and will contact you as soon as they are ready. Please wait for our call before arriving, as early arrivals may excite your dog and delay or prevent us from completing the groom. Calling to check in may also slow the process.

Please ensure your dog has been walked prior to drop-off. A rewash fee may apply if your pet has an accident during grooming that requires an additional bath.

 Arriving late to your appointment impacts not only your pet’s scheduled time, but also the appointments that follow. Late arrivals may incur a late fee or require rescheduling, which will result in a 50% rebooking fee based on the service cost.

 Due to our small, cage-free environment, we are unable to accommodate dogs after their service is complete. We will notify you approximately 15 minutes before your dog is ready. Please arrange for pickup within 30 minutes of this notification. Late pickups will incur a daycare fee of $1 per minute. Additional notice can be provided upon request. 

 As a one-on-one salon, we reserve dedicated time exclusively for each dog. Late cancellations or reschedules significantly impact our schedule. We kindly request at least 24 hours’ notice per dog for any cancellations or changes. 

Appointments canceled or rescheduled within 24 hours will incur a 50% fee per dog, based on the grooming cost. No-shows will be charged 100% of the appointment cost.

PLEASE NOTE: We do not specialize in working with dogs with aggressive temperament. Dogs that require the use of a muzzle will not be accepted. 

We always strive to safely and comfortably groom every dog. Some dogs may require additional time, care, or special handling due to behavior or temperament.

Dogs that require special handling - including excessive movement, anxiety, etc. may incur a handling fee ranging from $10–$40, depending on severity.

Any known behavioral concerns must be disclosed prior to your appointment to ensure proper preparation and safe handling.

If a dog’s behavior prevents us from completing the service, charges will still apply for the time and care provided.

 Matting requires additional time and care and may result in extra charges ranging from $10–$40, depending on severity.

In cases of moderate to severe matting, shaving may be necessary to safely and humanely remove the coat. We will contact you prior to proceeding with a shave.

De-matting is only performed in minor cases, as it can be very uncomfortable for your pet. De-matting is charged at $1 per minute, based on the time required.

 We require proof of a current rabies vaccination for all dogs in our care. Puppies must have completed all required vaccination rounds prior to their first appointment.

For the safety and well-being of your pet, all pre-existing medical conditions must be disclosed before your grooming appointment. This includes any known health concerns - whether major or minor - such as skin sensitivities, allergies, heart conditions, seizures, or mobility issues.
